How teams can get around transfer rumours through home grown players

There are so many ways for football clubs to attempt and reach success, but the next sides all go with native footballers effectively.

Recently there are always transfer rumours circulating the sports press, and that has definitely been true about the Italian Serie A. The division this season has been quite competitive in the mid table so all of these sides will try to add to their squads to help overcome their competitors next season. The AC Milan owner will intend to hold onto their top players whilst also adding some leading footballers to their lineup in the summer. In specific the clubs will intend to keep their string of astounding youthful Italian players they have established over the years. There are many clubs hoping to sign their outstanding Italian goalkeeper, who is a prime example of the team developing Italian players from a youthful age.

A club which is popular for its promotion of local footballers, plays in the top Spanish league. The team has an unwritten rule which states that they will just sign footballers who are from or who have learnt their football in the Basque region of The country of spain. The Athletic Bilbao president has done well to keep this rule going in the modern era which is ruled by big international signings. The policy they have implemented does keep the team out of football transfer rumours but the fans, who are part owners of the team, hold their traditions higher than the need for major money signings. The policy has not held the club back from success either, as they have won the league a total of eight times.

Back in the 70’s, there weren't so many international footballers participating in the various football leagues; at present on the other hand there are probably more international players in leagues such the English top division than there are home grown footballers. There are many causes for this but certainly one of the primary ones in Britain is as a result of the pay buildings that are in existence. As the premier division offers footballers such good wages, it draws in the greatest players from all over the world and that means it is more difficult for the English players to contend against such a big pool of players. There are teams in England that do promote young English professionals however, which is some thing the Spurs owner presses for in the youth academy. By promoting youthful English talent, it also opens up the possibility of selling them on for large revenue in the transfer market. Leagues will sometimes have a rule that teams must have a certain number of footballers from within that country, which is a way of keeping the international club competitive, but a side effect of this rule is that it inflates the pricing of these home-grown footballers. This rule explains why English footballers football transfers are more expensive than the majority.
